Are you looking for a fun way to spice up your table décor for your upcoming event or wedding?! Below, I will teach you how to make decorative votive candleholders in 5 easy steps! This process can also be used for decorating vases, wine or beer bottles and MORE!
Step 1: Gather your supplies
What you need:
Clear votive candleholders
(ribbon, lace, burlap, fabric, twine, etc.)
Step 2: Wrap your decorative piece around the votive candleholder to determine where you want it placed (top, middle, bottom). Using the tape measurer, measure the circumference of your votive candleholder. Mine measured 6 inches.
Step 3: Measure and cut your decorative piece to the length of the circumference you measured in Step 2.
Step 4: Use self-adhesive spray to adhere your decorative piece to the votive candleholder. I recommend doing this step outside or putting down paper towels/newspaper, as this step can get a little messy! Be sure to remove any jewelry from your hands as well to ensure it doesn't get ruined by the adhesive. If you are using multiple decorative pieces or layers, I recommend adhering them together prior to putting them on your votive candleholder.
**Alternate application methods include tacky glue, hot glue or sticky glue dots; however, I found adhesive spray works best.
Step 5: Adhere your decorative piece to the votive candle holder and let dry.
Congratulations! You now have your finished piece!
Repeat until you have decorated your desired number of votive candleholders.
