- Hot glue gun
- Flower of your choice
- Wooden Letter ($3.49 at Hobby Lobby)
- Paint ($1.37 at Hobby Lobby)
- Jute Twine ($2.99 at Hobby Lobby)
- Foam Brushes ($1.33 at Hobby Lobby)
Step 1: First, paint one side of your wooden letter. I prefer using the foam brushes. I applied a thin coat and let the letter dry all the way before applying a second coat of paint. After the letter is completely dry, apply the paint to the other side.
Step 2: Next, wrap the twine around the letter, applying glue to the back side of your letter. I prefer gluing the twine on both sides of the letter as I wrap it, to ensure that it stays in place. I decided to just glue twine around one section of the letter. (There’s also the option of gluing twine around the entire letter, which is more time consuming but you wouldn’t need any paint).
Step 3: Lastly, take the flower of your choice and glue it on the letter. I chose to glue the flower at the top, on the same side as the twine.
**You could also attach ribbon at the top of the wooden letter to be hung up on a wall or front door!
And voila! You have a quickly custom crafted letter!
