Apps Across the Spectrum

Ever wonder how to incorporate apps in to not only your event but also your event planning experience? Well look no further! This intern has got it right here for you. I am going to share with you some easy to use apps and what you should be using them for.

  1. Looking to be your own DJ? Create your very own playlists using the popular app Spotify. You can download it for free for your computer and your phone. You have the ability to create as many playlists as you’d like ranging from ceremony music, cocktail hour, and reception dancing. With millions of songs to choose from, your opportunities are almost endless. However, with the free version you have to deal with commercials. After a 30 day free trial, you have the opportunity to pay $9.99 a month for unlimited access on every device without commercials.

  2. Looking for a way to boost your corporate event? Try
out Bizzabo. Made for the planner and the attendee, this app gives your attendees a mobile agenda, networking capabilities, all while generating social buzz around your event. Keep people updated and engaged by sending out real-time announcements for any changes. This free app is easy to access on your phones.

  3. For any type of event avoid the messy clutter of
receipts, contracts, and papers by using ScannerPro
. This app allows you to scan documents with a snapshot, convert them to PDF's, and email them right away.  You can send things to WedDAV, Dropbox, Evernote, and Google Drive. This app is on sale now for just $2.99 for its increased popularity and downloads. Which makes ScannerPro a steal of a deal!

For everything else, you can rely on team Simply Events to be your calculator, calendar reminder, budget tracker, and whatever else you need.
