Simply Events LLC is very excited to announce that we have updated our social events packages.  Are you planning a shower, a bachelorette party, a child's party or other social event?  We are here to help you make your party everything you dreamed for it to be...and more.  Our consultants can meet you where you are at in the event planning process, eliminate the stress of the big day, and make your event one that will forever wow your guests. 

Are you a client who has been planning a party for months?  You have all the details in place, the guests are invited, the food is ordered but you are still stressed about the big day?  Trust me you have done more than enough! Now is the time for you to sit back, enjoy all your hard work, and allow us as event planners to come in and take over the day of details.  With our Day of Package you will receive
  • Simply Finalize meeting: We will sit down with you for a 2 hour meeting to discuss the most effective and efficient way to plan out the whole party. By the end of this meeting, you will have a solid timeline which will ensure an error-proof event!
  • Up to 6 hours of day of event coordination including décor set up, timeline execution, guest management, and clean up.
Just imagine having NO STRESS the day of the event.  You will not have to lift a finger before, after or during the party.  All you will have to worry about is having fun, and enjoying your guests!

Day of Package not for you?  Are you a client who has been working on planning your event for while, and you have a few details such as vendors, invitations, party day etc lined out, but you need help with the final details?  We can be of great service to you! With our Simply Social Half Way package we meet you where you are, iron out the details, and eliminate the stress for you.  With this package you will receive
  • Simply Finalize meeting: We will sit down with you for a 2 hour meeting to discuss the most effective and efficient way to plan out the whole party. By the end of this meeting, you will have a solid timeline which will ensure an error-proof event!
  • 2 hour decoration meeting where you will provide event coordinator(s) with your vision of décor for the party.
  • Coordinator(s) will attend all final vendor meetings to ensure all involved parties are on the same page.
  • 8 hour day of event coordination including décor set up, timeline execution, guest management, and clean up.

2 meetings up front

Simply Social Consultation 90 minute consultation to discuss topic(s) of your choice (budget, favors, goal for social event, benefits of hiring an event coordinator)

Simply Social Design
Begins with a phone conversation with event coordinator where general event theme and vision is discussed. Then you will get a 2 hour consultation where we will provide you with an inspiration board for your special day. 
  • Simply Social Consultation meeting & Simply Social Design meeting
  • Preferred venue list based on budget and vision
  • Guidance and touring of three (3) venues
  • Budget meeting to discuss vendor options based on vision
  • Invitation addressing/send out
  • 10 hours of coordinator's personal time (errands, projects, rental item pick up, etc.) *Not to include event day management
  • Final week meeting to discuss event timeline, tie up any loose ends, and answer any last minute questions
  • Attend final venue and other applicable vendor meetings
  • 10 hours of day management from both Simply Events coordinators (including décor set up, timeline execution, guest management, and décor clean up).

Bridal Show Tips for the Bride-To-Be

Attending a bridal show can seem overwhelming, so we have put together some tips to help make this a great experience for you. First and foremost, a bridal shows gives you face to face time with hundreds of wedding professionals.  Here are seven of our top recommendations on how to prepare yourself for a fun filled day of wedding planning!

  1. Pre-print address labels with your name, e-mail, phone number, and wedding date.  This will save you so much time when you are visiting with the vendors.  Instead of having to write all your contact information over and over again, you will be able to spend more time learning about what each vendor has to offer you.
  2. Be open to services that will enhance your wedding planning experience.  One of the best things about a bridal show is that it gives you an opportunity to see what’s new and exciting, things you may not have thought of or considered.  Make a list of what you will need most and what your budget will allow for each item and service. Be sure to leave some room for the unexpected – you never know when you may see something you’ll want to have that you never thought of.
  3. Create a separate e-mail account strictly for bridal shows. This is a great way to keep all your wedding information in one central location without bogging down your personal or work email.
  4. Sign up for the free giveaways. Most vendors will have you sign up for some type of giveaway.  Just because you already have a photographer or florist does not mean you should skip right by them.  They may be giving away a gift card or cash!
  5. Already have your wedding gown? Skip the fashion show! Visit the vendor booths during the fashion show to forgo the crowded aisle ways.  This will also give you more face to face time with a vendor you want more information from.
  6. Bring your calendar book (or iPhone or Blackberry) with you.  Regardless of you coming in with the mindset of only gathering information, you will probably connect with a few vendors instantly and want to schedule a follow up meeting.  
  7. Prepare for INFORMATION OVERLOAD! When you are finished talking with each vendor, write something about him/her that stuck out to you on their business card or literature. For example, if you liked a particular florist, make a note as to why you liked him/her. This will ensure that when you get home and start to sift through all the papers, you will have some type of reminder as to why you connected with some but not so much with others.

Galvin+Johnson Wedding Reception

Simply Events recently had the privilege to work with Matt and Lori.  They are such a beautiful couple, and the love they have for each other was breath taking.  The couple married in St Lucia, and then blessed their loved ones with a reception closer to home.  Their venue of choice was the beautiful Metropolitan Club located in Covington, Ky. 

The couple decided to bring a little piece of the beach home with them to share with friends and family who were not in attendance for the ceremony, and thus decided on a beach theme reception.  It was so much fun to turn the couples dream of a "beach theme" reception into reality. 

Upon arrival guests were encouraged to leave a special message for the bride and groom and place it in a glass bottle.  We at Simply Events love tying in the small details that in return make a huge impact on the over all event. 




The tables throughout the reception were breath taking with the sea blue pops of color, and the minimalistic "beach" centerpieces.  They all added just enough to make guests feel as though they too had traveled to St. Lucia with the couple. 



One of our favorite aspects of the table decor was the chalk board table numbers.  They were such a creative accent, and piece of conversation. 


The couple chose to dine at a beautifully adorned sweetheart table.


The mini cakes were the perfect touch to the already beautiful reception. 


The reception was so much fun, and lasted well into the night thanks to an amazing dj, and wonderful guests.  Thank you so much Lori and Matt for allowing Simply Events to be a part of your special day.  We wish you nothing less than a life time of happiness and love.
